This has become the favourite mountain and boat fishing rod amongts the competition anglers on our team. This rod length and weight is also very popular for seatrout and seabass fishing in the salt. This rod is perfect for single hand spey casts, long casts with long belly lines or shooting heads and gives you plenty of lifting power when fishing "the hang" from a boat. Very light, so feels more like a 9 footer.
